Player, Parent and Coaches Raffle Information 2014
We are entering into another baseball season and we hope to have another successful year with our raffle ticket sales. In an effort to keep registration costs down, under the pressure of rising insurance and equipment costs, we will be requiring rookie, pee wee, and b league, a league , pony and senior league to sell 30 raffle tickets per player.
We award prizes to the top selling kids. our top five ticket sellers from previous years have sold over 400 tickets each. An extra incentive to motivate ticket sales is that we reward the top 9 selling players by having them take the field with the runza legion team for the starting line-ups and we will have the top seller throw out the first pitch during the runza tournament.
- In order for players to receive proper credit they must have their first and last name filled in as the seller.
- If tickets are lost parents or guardians are responsible to turn in the money for lost tickets.

First 30 ticket stubs and money must be turned in by your players picture night

All extra tickets, sold or unsold must be turned in by Sunday, June 8. (Turn in location and times for extra tickets will be announced later)
On average it costs hastings baseball over $93 per player. The Raffle helps keep registration fees low so that all can play

We will be having a player/parent raffle ticket sales wrap up at walmart and Russ’s IGA on Saturday & Sunday, June 7 & 8. We will furnish the tickets to sell those two days and all tickets sold by player will go towards players total sales. Call Dale Ossowski 402-469-4409 to set up a time. Please set up your time as soon as possible.
The drawing will be held friday June 13 at Duncan field at approximately 6:30 p.m. The top selling players prizes will also be awarded (rain out date is June 14)
We would like to thank all the players and parents for helping make the program so successful and enjoyable. It takes everyones cooperation to make things go, and we hope we can count on you to do your part. Good luck and lets make this years sales the best ever.
