HASTINGS — Braxton Hemry pitched six strong innings and Treu Larsen drove in four runs as Lincoln East Duncan Aviation Jets Post 500 defeated Lincoln Southwest Cornhusker Heating & Air Post 500, 11-2, in six innings Tuesday night in Game 13 of the Nebraska American Legion Class A Juniors State Tournament at Duncan Field.

The game remained scoreless through three innings before Lincoln East scored three times in the fourth. Henrik Kruce and Larsen delivered RBI singles, and Kruce later scored on a balk.

Lincoln Southwest answered with two runs in the bottom half. Carson Lewis singled, Cole Sebek and Brody Antonson walked, and Nash Noerrlinger lined a two-run single to center to cut the deficit to 3-2.

Lincoln East pulled away with five runs in the fifth. Kruce drew a bases-loaded walk, Hemry scored during a double play, and Larsen, Jake Gerdts and Shea Clanton followed with consecutive RBI singles for an 8-2 advantage.

The Jets added three more runs in the sixth. Tyson Beach brought home Hemry with an RBI single before Larsen delivered a two-run single for his third hit of the game.

Hemry earned the victory after allowing two runs on five hits over six innings. He walked three and struck out five. Chase Fusco took the loss for Lincoln Southwest.

Larsen went 3-for-4 with one run and four RBIs. Beach finished 2-for-3 with a walk, three runs and an RBI, while Kruce went 2-for-3 with a walk, one run and two RBIs. Noerrlinger led Lincoln Southwest by going 1-for-2 with two RBIs. All 15 hits in the game were singles.

Lincoln East finished with 11 runs, 10 hits and no errors. Lincoln Southwest recorded two runs, five hits and two errors.
